Young Talent Concours Maassluis is open to talented children and young people from 8 to 18 years old with more than average aptitude for their instrument. We welcome pianists, strings, guitarists, harpists, brass and woodwinds, vocalists, duos, trios and other small ensembles. Participants play or sing solo, with accompaniment or in a small ensemble.
The jury members are David Kuyken (piano), Quirine Scheffers (violin) and Erwin ter Bogt (trumpet).
The pre-play days of the 65th edition will take place on February 24 up to including February 26 2025. The final concert, the award ceremony and the presentation of the participation certificates will take place on Saturday March 1, 2025 in the Groote Kerk in Maassluis.
Before the concert there will be a masterclass by renowned pianist Hans Eijsackers.
